Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is looking for an IT Solutions Architect to lead design and optimization across multiple software projects. You will ensure quality, security, and scalability while guiding development teams with architectural roadmaps and best practices.

The role requires advanced knowledge in Domain Driven Design, microservices, APIs, and cloud services, with strong experience in PHP Laravel, Vue.js, Java, and SQL. Hybrid work arrangement offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and building software applications.
• Strong experience in backend and frontend development with PHP Laravel, Vue.js, Java, Spring, SQL, and scripting.
• Deep knowledge of Domain Driven Design, microservices, and API design (OpenAPI).
• Proficient in UML and other modeling methods; familiar with enterprise integration concepts.
• Experience with cloud services, OOP, SOA, and software quality/security standards.

About The Job

As an IT Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and optimization effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to recommend solutions to business requirements based on existing application design, review existing solutions designs and optimize when deemed necessary.

What You Will Do

• You will see the “big picture” and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
• Identify the appropriate software architecture / design for the implementation of new software as well as the enhancements of existing ones.
• Ensure that the solution meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability, sustainability, and portability.
• Provide a framework for the development of a software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions.
• Develop and design application roadmaps of the internally developed software.
• Maintain and evolve software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Continuous research of emerging technologies and trends in IT.
• Analyze, investigate, and provide relevant recommendations in certain situations.

What You Should Have

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and building software applications
• Advance experience in both back-end and front-end development with familiarity in various programming such as but not limited to PHP Laravel, Vue.js, Java, Spring, SQL, Shell scripting, etc.
• Advance knowledge with Domain Driven Design and Microservice Design.
• Advance knowledge of solution design and architecture of complex solutions.
• Advance familiarity with API (Application Programming Interface’s) (Open API Specification) and asynchronous processes
• Advance knowledge of UML (Unified Modeling Language) and other modeling methods
• Advance knowledge in enterprise integration concepts
• Advance experience in OOP (Object oriented Programming), SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), open-source technologies and cloud-computing / cloud services
• Advance understanding of software quality assurance principles and security standards
