Job summary

WeConnect Technology Philippines Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage OS installations and provide regional IT assistance for staff, covering Cebu City and nearby offices.

You will support desktop software, activation of access rights, and general IT services for international and local employees. The role includes network fault troubleshooting, information security audits, asset management, and coordination of security procedures for both local and international staff, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT/Computer - Network/System/DB Admin or related.
• Proficient in Java, distributed systems, Redis, and database optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide OS installation and software setup for staff in the region.
• Offer IT technical support for office software and desktops.
• Troubleshoot and repair office network faults for regional staff.
• Perform information security audits and system permission management.
• Maintain public network devices and AV equipment in the regional office.
• Manage fixed assets, procurement, and asset allocation.
• Handle local carrier network fault reporting and monitoring.
• Coordinate information security audits for employees and contractors.
• Support administrative tasks as needed.

Job Description:

• The OS installation service is provided for international and local employees in the region;
• Provide IT technical support for office software and desktop faults for international employees and local employees in the corresponding area;
• Provides troubleshooting and repair services for office network faults for international employees and local employees in the corresponding area;
• Providing IT technical support for new staff workers in the local area (OS installation, office software installation, ID activation, office access control right activation etc.);
• Perform the information security audit operation for the area away from the staff engineering computer (data cleaning, system reset and system permission withdrawal according to the company information security requirements);
• Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of public network devices (printers, video conference terminals, projectors, access control systems, and monitoring systems) in the regional office;
• Fixed assets management in the regional office (assets ledger management, assets purchase follow-up, assets requisition and allocation);
• Local carrier network application, fault reporting, and reminder in the regional office;
• Information Security Coordinator Conduct Audit/Spot Checking to all employees (Regular/Outsourcing Staff) and all others regarding Information security implementation;
• Other support administrative works

Qualifications

• At least Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology or any related field
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• At Least 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
• Solid foundation in Java, familiar with Java network programming, experienced in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems, familiar with Redis-based design and development, proficient in MySQL and Oracle databases, familiar with indexing principles and database optimization; good at thinking, proactive, strong communication skills, team-oriented, able to handle pressure.
• Willing to work in extended hours
• Willing to work from Mondays to Saturdays
