Job summary

Hummingcomm Corporation in Cebu is seeking an IT Engineer to join our on-site team. The role focuses on IT support for office software, network fault troubleshooting, OS/software installation for new staff, and information security compliance within the regional office.

You will handle daily maintenance of printers, conference terminals, projectors, access control, and monitoring systems, plus asset management and local carrier fault reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT/Network/Systems support.
• Willing to work extended hours and Saturdays.
• Must own a laptop.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT technical support for office software and desktop faults for Chinese and local employees.
• Troubleshoot and repair network faults in the regional office area.
• Install OS and office software for new staff and manage access control rights.
• Conduct information security audits and enforce company security requirements.
• Maintain public network devices (printers, video conference terminals, projectors, access control systems, monitoring systems).
• Manage assets ledger, asset purchases, and allocation.
• Report faults and coordinate with local carriers.
• Perform routine administrative support as needed.

Hello, Telecommunications Professionals! We are currently hiring IT Engineer!

Responsibilities

• Provide IT technical support for office software and desktop faults for Chinese employees and local employees in the corresponding area;


• Provides troubleshooting and repair services for office network faults for Chinese employees and local employees in the corresponding area;


• Providing IT technical support for new staff workers in the local area (OS installation, office software installation, ID activation, office access control right activation etc.);


• Perform the information security audit operation for the area away from the staff engineering computer (data cleaning, system reset and system permission withdrawal according to the company information security requirements);


• Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of public network devices (printers, video conference terminals, projectors, access control systems, and monitoring systems) in the regional office;


• Fixed assets management in the regional office (assets ledger management, assets purchase follow-up, assets requisition and allocation);


• Local carrier network application, fault reporting, and reminder in the regional office;


• Information Security Coordinator Conduct Audit/Spot Checking to all employees (Regular/Outsourcing Staff) and all others regarding Information security implementation;


• Other support administrative works

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Information Technology or any related field


• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position


• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent


• Must own laptop


• Willing to work in extended hours


• Willing to work from Mondays to Saturdays
