Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership across all assigned projects.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional IT teams to obtain desired results.
• Create and maintain relationships with the customer and vendors to implement products and maximize the customer's experience.
• Manage the project plan for implementation of data center hosted offerings, including development of timelines for new applications, upgrades and new service implementations.
• Clearly and effectively communicate and manage customer expectations.
• Organize and lead meetings bringing various teams together to provide status on in-flight work.
• Identify and escape project risks and issues.
• Maintain multiple projects and co-dependencies between projects and team engagements.
• Support the development and implementation of project management methods to enhance delivery of data center services.
• Work closely with other teams including onshore and offshore support teams meeting internal objectives and timelines.

About the role

The IT Coordinator is responsible for effective and efficient coordination and management implementation of various IT projects and solutions, while effectively communicating and managing expectations and timeline delivery. This is a highly visible role in a successful organization requiring a combination of project management, technical and interpersonal skills to be successful. The IT Coordinator reports directly to the Manager of Service Deliver.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project leadership across all assigned projects
• Lead and motivate cross-functional IT teams to obtain desired results

About you

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• PMP certification is a plus
• Highly self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team, connecting virtually with IM, video and teleconferencing tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong desire for constant challenge and multi-tasking
• 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably within technology or consulting organizations
• A demonstrated understanding of when and how to be flexible, and when and how to be firm
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of IT teams and their functional areas and responsibility
