Gladex Travel and Tours Corp. is seeking an organized IT Project Officer to support planning, coordination, and implementation of technology projects in Manila.
The role collaborates with developers, designers, QA testers, and stakeholders to monitor tasks, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Candidates should have 1–3 years in IT project coordination, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and experience with Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or Notion.
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented IT Project Officer to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of technology-related projects.
The role will work closely with developers, designers, QA testers, and other stakeholders to monitor project tasks, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. The ideal candidate has experience in IT project coordination and is familiar with Agile and Scrum workflows.
Assist in planning and coordinating IT projects from initiation to completion.
Create and maintain project workflows, timelines, task lists, and deliverables.
Break down project requirements into manageable tasks.
Assist in sprint planning and daily Scrum meetings.
Monitor project progress, deadlines, and milestones.
Follow up with team members regarding assigned tasks and deliverables.
Track project activities using Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Notion, or similar tools.
Identify project delays, blockers, and risks and elevate them appropriately.
Prepare weekly project status updates and progress reports.
Maintain complete and organized project documentation.
Assist in reviewing completed deliverables against agreed requirements.
Support the IT team in keeping projects on schedule and within agreed scope.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in IT project coordination, project management, Scrum, or a similar role.
Experience working with IT or software development projects.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or Notion.
Basic understanding of software development and web development processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented and proactive in following up on tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with different teams.
Experience supporting software development or web application projects.
Familiarity with APIs, databases, CRM, ERP, automation, or SaaS projects.
Experience preparing user stories, process flows, sprint documentation, or project reports.
Scrum or Agile certification is an advantage.
Technical background is an advantage but not required.
