Network Technical Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Technical Project Manager to lead enterprise network infrastructure projects across global and regional environments. The role will manage network planning, implementation, migration, and transition while coordinating with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, infrastructure, or network project delivery.

• 5+ years leading network infrastructure projects in global or regional environments.

• Strong experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Internet, MPLS, VPN, and data center networking.

• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, segmentation, access control, and secure connectivity.

• Experience managing network migrations, deployments, technology refreshes, and service transitions.

• Strong project management skills covering scope, schedule, risks, issues, changes, budgets, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Experience working with cross-functional and multinational teams.

• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Zabbix, Azure, AWS, ServiceNow, or ITSM/CMDB platforms.

• Knowledge of network automation, scripting, APIs, and configuration management.

• ITIL knowledge or experience.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or CCNP certification.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end network infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and handover.

• Define project scope, timelines, resources, milestones, and acceptance criteria.

• Lead network migrations, cutovers, testing, stabilization, and transition to operations.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with Network Engineering, Network Operations, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, IT, and business teams.

• Manage telecommunications carriers, service providers, system integrators, and technology vendors.

• Lead project meetings, governance reviews, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.

Technical Oversight

• Review network designs, implementation plans, testing procedures, and rollback strategies.

• Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, documentation, and operational requirements.

• Support network technology evaluations, procurement, vendor selection, and budget planning.

Governance & Operations

• Ensure proper change management, documentation, monitoring, capacity planning, and knowledge transfer.

• Apply ITIL and project governance practices where applicable.

• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of network infrastructure delivery.
