Job summary

GECO Philippines is seeking a Network Technical Project Manager to lead planning and delivery of enterprise network infrastructure projects across global and regional environments.

This role combines strong enterprise networking expertise with technical project management, working with Network Engineering, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions.

Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, infrastructure services, or network project delivery.
• 5+ years leading network infrastructure projects in global or regional environments.
• Experience with multinational or matrix organizations.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects from planning and design through implementation, migration, stabilization, and handover.
• Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, changes, and escalations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into project plans, implementation strategies, resource requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead projects involving WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Internet, MPLS, cloud connectivity, data center networking, and network security.
• Review network designs, configurations, implementation procedures, test plans, migration strategies, and rollback plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Network Engineering, Network Operations, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Service Desk, and local IT.
• Manage telecommunications carriers, managed service providers, system integrators, and technology vendors.
• Ensure network implementations comply with architecture, cybersecurity, change management, documentation, and operational requirements.
• Lead technical governance meetings, project reviews, status reporting, stakeholder updates, and escalation discussions.
• Plan and execute network migrations and cutovers while minimizing business disruption and maintaining service availability.
• Ensure monitoring, documentation, support models, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness are completed before project handover.
• Support vendor evaluation, technical assessments, procurement, quotation reviews, contract execution, and budget tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization initiatives to improve network reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

We’re Hiring: Network Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a Network Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of enterprise network infrastructure projects across global and regional environments.

This role combines strong enterprise networking expertise with technical project management, working closely with Network Engineering, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions.

Deployment Setup

Key Responsibilities

Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of enterprise routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS, VPN, and network redundancy.
• Hands-on or strong practical knowledge of WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, site connectivity, and data center networking.
• Experience with network infrastructure design, implementation, migration, testing, and service transition.
• Strong knowledge of network security, segmentation, firewall integration, remote access, access control, and secure connectivity.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud connectivity and hybrid network environments.
• Experience with network transformation, technology refresh, carrier migration, office deployment, consolidation, or service-transition projects.
• Understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem, change, release, configuration, and service-transition processes.
• Ability to assess network performance, availability, capacity, technical risks, dependencies, and business impact.
• Strong technical documentation, presentation, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

Preferred Technical Experience

• Cisco routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and network access control.
• Palo Alto firewalls and network security technologies.
• Network monitoring/observability tools such as Zabbix and Tuffin.
• ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM, CMDB, project tracking, and change-management platforms.
• Network automation, scripting, APIs, configuration management, and reporting.
• VPN, remote access, unified communications, and collaboration connectivity.
• Business continuity, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and network lifecycle management.
• Carrier services, infrastructure procurement, licensing, maintenance, and vendor management.
