Job summary

Ascendion Philippines seeks an IT Project Manager to lead software development initiatives from planning to delivery. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage scope, timelines, budgets, and vendor relations, and report progress to stakeholders.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years managing IT software projects with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall or Hybrid methods; strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; and full onsite work in BGC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• At least 3 years of IT software development project management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• Adept at managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
• Amenable with Full Onsite set-up in BGC.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and deliverables

• Lead projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and successful closure.

Technical Project Oversight

• Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure project deliverables meet business, functional, and technical requirements.

• Coordinate solution design, implementation, system integration, testing, and deployment activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.

• Facilitate clear and timely communication through project meetings, status reports, and executive updates.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project impact.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives and deliver successful outcomes.

• Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to project team members as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

• Atleast 3 years of experience managing IT Software Development projects as Project Manager

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid)

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

• Experience managing project budgets, resources, timelines, and vendor relationships
