Job description

The IT Project Management Specialist is responsible for leading and coordinating technology-related projects across the organization. This role ensures that IT initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage project lifecycles, mitigate risks, and ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects from initiation to closure from small to mid-scale projects.

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.

• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and standards.

• Prepare and present regular project status reports to management.

• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.

• Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or
  related field.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure projects, and
  enterprise systems.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello, Asana).

• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Detailed knowledge of workflow and process control software.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in basic MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Visio and Project to be utilized in devising QA processes.

• Ability to document business requirements and functional specifications.

• Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients and business representatives.

• Ability to provide technical training to end users.
