Job summary

SB Finance is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in the Philippines to oversee delivery of complex projects from initiation to closing. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business units to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with PM methodologies.

The role requires strong leadership, communications, and risk management skills, with a track record in IT operations, budgeting, and stakeholder management to drive project success at SB Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Open to any field of study
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, Fintech, IT, Insurance, Investment Houses
• Experience in IT Outsourcing/BPO/Leasing/Financing and related domains
• Strong knowledge of IT operations, Project Management, and resource management for IT projects; Agile knowledge preferred
• Leadership and negotiation skills with strong business requirements analysis and IT process understanding
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Supervisory, organizational and analytical skills with strong written/oral communication
• Budget preparation, technical management, and Microsoft Project/MS Office proficiency
• Ability to work independently and solve problems; capable of cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide Status Reports based on IT requirements in an accurate and timely manner
• Provide documentation in the project management tool based on PM guidelines timely and accurately for reference and audit
• Coordinate with vendors and responsible units to monitor deliverables and ensure timely availability
• Ensure projects are tracked and completed within scope, budget and timeline
• Manage Projects from Initiation to Closing using PM methodologies
• Apply PM knowledge areas across integration, scope, time, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholders

• Provide Status Reports based on all IT requirements in an accurate and timely manner

• Provide documentation in the project management tool based on PM guidelines timely and accurately for reference and audit

• Coordinates with vendors and responsible units are being monitored ensure the acceptability and timely availability of project deliverable

• Ensure projects are being tracked completed within scope, budget and timeline

• Manage Projects from Initiation to Closing phase applying the PM Methodology (from Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing) to achieve project objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Open to any field of study

• 5 years and up experience in the industry of Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, Credit Card Companies, Financial Technology/Fintech, Information Technology, Insurance, Investment Houses,

• IT Outsourcing Services/ITOS, Business Process Outsourcing/BPO, Leasing/Financing Institutions, Research and Development

• High level of knowledge of IT operations (internal or external), Project Management, Resource Management specifically for IT projects, preferably with knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, critical path resource allocations, and others - Experience of successfully leading large, complex and multi-component IT projects or as IT consulting/management roles - Optional knowledge or experience of banking operations

• Requires leadership and negotiation skills and experience/in-depth knowledge of the business, business requirements analysis and IT processes.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

• High degree of supervisory, organizational and analytical skills.

• Strong in oral & written communication.

• Knowledge in budget preparation, technical management and understanding, analyzing information and problem solving, strategic planning and quality management. Microsoft office and Microsoft Project skills.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to establish strong collaborative working relationships with cross matrix stakeholders, at all levels, across the organization.
