The Strategic Sourcing Analyst for Software/SaaS is responsible for analyzing spend, evaluating software suppliers, driving cost‑saving initiatives, and managing the full sourcing lifecycle across all SaaS categories. The role ensures value, compliance, and performance by partnering closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and key business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spend & Data Analysis
- Conduct spend analysis, usage reviews, and cost modeling to identify savings opportunities.
- Build reports and dashboards using Excel/analytics tools to support decision‑making.
- Perform rigorous SaaS vendor due diligence, including security, compliance, integration capability, and product fit.
- Lead RFP/RFI processes and comparative vendor assessments.
3. Contract Negotiation & Management
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing tiers, renewals, SLAs, and contract protections for SaaS agreements.
- Support contract lifecycle management and ensure vendor adherence to agreed terms.
- Track vendor SLAs, service quality, and product performance; elevate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate vendor data within procurement systems.
- Research SaaS pricing benchmarks, competitive offerings, and market trends.
6. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and business owners to validate requirements and ensure alignment.
- Coordinate implementation of sourcing strategies and ensure smooth vendor onboarding.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management—specifically in software/SaaS categories.
Technical Skills
- Strong spend analysis, cost modeling, and data reporting skills.
- Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, ERP platforms, or similar)
- Advanced Excel and general data analytics capabilities.
- Ability to conduct market research and benchmark SaaS pricing and vendors.
- Ability to perform rigorous SaaS vendor due diligence (security, compliance, integration).
- Understanding of SaaS renewal cycles, usage optimization, and contract structures. (SaaS procurement responsibilities)
- Skilled in building and managing RFP/RFI processes and category strategies.
Work Arrangement
Night shift from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM (MNL time), with 4 days per week reporting to the office (RTO).
