Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc in the Philippines is seeking a Senior IT Operations Manager to lead end-to-end IT operations, ensuring system availability, performance optimization and incident response across the organization.

You will mentor teams, implement ITIL-aligned policies, manage infrastructure, cloud environments, security and compliance, and drive continual improvements through metrics and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years' experience in IT operations management or senior technical leadership.
• Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and industry best practices.
• Experience with system monitoring tools, ticketing systems and IT asset management platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis and preventative measures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations activities including system monitoring, maintenance, incident management, and performance optimisation.
• Lead, supervise and mentor IT operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Develop and implement IT operations policies, procedures and best practices aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems and data centre operations to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
• Monitor system performance, capacity planning and resource allocation to support business growth and scalability.
• Coordinate with other IT departments and business units to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers to ensure service level agreements are met.
• Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect critical systems and data.
• Prepare regular operational reports and metrics to communicate performance to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimisation and technological advancement.
