Job summary

Xerox Corporation in Cebu City is offering an IT Operations Support Student Intern position. You will assist the IT Operations team with daily technology-related activities, incident management, system monitoring, and documentation to support internal users.

The internship provides hands-on exposure to IT support, asset management, onboarding, and process improvements while collaborating with experienced IT professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Must be eligible to undergo internship/OJT as required by the school.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and common IT support tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for basic hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking IT incidents and service requests.
• Support user account administration activities, including account creation, modification, and deactivation.
• Help maintain and update IT documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.
• Assist in hardware and software inventory management and asset tracking.
• Perform routine system checks and report issues or abnormalities to the team.
• Support data gathering, report preparation, and operational metrics tracking.
• Assist with workstation setup, equipment deployment, and user onboarding activities.
• Participate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company information security policies and IT operational standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities related to IT operations as assigned by the supervisor.
