Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to maintain stable, secure, and high-performing platforms across ING’s Cards ecosystem. You will design and run CI/CD pipelines, automate operational tasks, monitor health, and collaborate with international teams to support card issuance and payment processing.

The role offers exposure to modern engineering practices, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, and opportunities to contribute to platform resilience and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, SRE, Application Support, Operations Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and operational best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipeline development.
• Experience with test automation, functional testing, and performance testing.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
• Experience supporting Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, global, and Agile environment.
• Exposure to Rest APIs using Java Spring Boot

Role Summary

As an Ops Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team responsible for maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing platforms that enable ING's Cards ecosystem. You'll collaborate closely with developers, architects, product teams, and stakeholders across multiple countries to support application reliability, optimize CI/CD processes, automate operational tasks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical banking platforms that support card issuance, transaction processing, customer servicing, and platform enablement capabilities, while gaining international exposure and expanding your expertise in modern engineering practices.
