Job summary

PRIME Philippines Mandaluyong seeks an IT Officer to ensure reliable networks, secure systems, and smooth operation of IT infrastructure. You will be the first contact for employees facing IT issues and actively maintain networks, devices, and connectivity to minimize downtime.

The role covers network administration, technical support, hardware/software management, IT security, and ongoing maintenance. 2–3 years in IT, strong troubleshooting, and knowledge of Microsoft 365 and networking

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi) and basic firewall configuration.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Familiarity with routers, switches, access points, and other network devices.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and common business applications.
Experience with IT asset management and technical documentation.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently and respond effectively to urgent technical concerns.

Responsibilities

Network Administration: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, internet connectivity and network infrastructure.
Technical Support / Helpdesk: Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues; document and resolve tickets; escalate when needed.
Hardware and Software Management: Set up IT equipment, maintain inventory, install software, and ensure security updates.
IT Security and Access Management: Manage user access, passwords, permissions, and monitor security threats.
IT Operations and Maintenance: Regular preventive maintenance, monitor system availability, assist backups and recovery, document resolutions.
IT Projects and Continuous Improvement: Assist in IT system rollouts, evaluate issues, and support policy implementation.
