Job summary

Private Advertiser in Pasig, Philippines is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the company’s ICT infrastructure, including workstations, servers, network devices, and cloud services. You will align IT solutions with business needs and coordinate with global teams and external providers.

The role requires hands-on expertise, leadership of large IT projects, and a focus on security, backup, and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualifications.
• 6 to 10 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience leading large IT projects and rolling out infrastructures across various technologies.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems.
• Familiar with Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure, Intune, Office 365).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Certifications such as Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft are desirable.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Fluent in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
• Help define Local IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
• Manage IT staff and coordinate with global IT teams for policies and process implementation.
• Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
• Supervise the IT and computer systems.
• Ensure the maintenance of the systems are implemented.
• Regularly check, organise and control the IT and electronic data operations.
• Manage the staff by recruiting, training, communicating the expectations and appraising their performance.
• Design, develop and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures in the department.
• Ensure that all the data, network access and systems are secure and protected.
• Regularly ensure backing up of systems.
• Work towards the user’s needs by identifying problem areas and implement solutions quickly.
• Regularly audit systems and study the outcome.
• Ensure cost effectiveness and work in line with the budget.
• Regularly file reports on the functioning of the systems and department.
