Job summary

AMEERATEL INC. in the Philippines is seeking a versatile IT Engineer to manage and optimize our technology infrastructure for BPO operations and seat leasing services. You will lead IT delivery, mentor junior staff, and act as the main technical contact for clients.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining servers/networks, managing cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and supporting call center technologies. A strong background in security and data privacy is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of IT engineering/administration experience, preferably in BPO or seat leasing environments.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and cloud solutions (AWS/Azure).
• Proven experience in leading IT teams and managing technical staff.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle client-facing challenges.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with VoIP systems and call center technologies.
• Familiarity with data privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft.
• Background in project management and IT service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across LAN/WAN/Internet connections.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity, security, and performance issues.
• Manage Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Handle user accounts, permissions, and access control.
• Perform updates, patching, backups, and maintain documentation.
• Ensure readiness of workstations, softphones, VoIP systems, and CRM tools.
• Support call center technologies and agent onboarding/offboarding.
• Lead and mentor a young IT team, fostering skill development and accountability.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing IT concerns with professionalism.
