Job summary
BB International Leisure & Resort Development Corp in the Philippines seeks an IT Engineer to monitor and maintain critical computer systems and networks, providing on-site and remote support.
You will install, configure, and deploy new systems, troubleshoot hardware and software, mentor non-technical staff, and ensure 24/7 network reliability at the designated duty location with rotating shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience installing and configuring diverse operating systems and hardware.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Proficiency in diagnosing complex software errors and hardware malfunctions.
- Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience in a Help Desk or Technical Support environment.
- Ability to manage multiple support tickets with accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain local computer systems and networks to ensure uptime and performance.
- Lead setup, configuration, and deployment of new computer systems, peripherals, and software.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software faults.
- Provide end-user support via phone or on-site support.
- Mentor non-technical staff with step-by-step solutions.
- Ensure network stability and connectivity at the duty location; escalate risks as needed.
