Job summary

Energy Development Corporation is seeking a full-time IT End User Support Associate at AEI Rockwell Head Office in the Philippines. You will provide first-level technical support, monitor IT systems, perform backups, and assist in disaster recovery planning to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/CE and 2 years in IT or telecom with hands-on IT service delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related fields.
At least two (2) years of IT or telecommunication industry experience with strong exposure to IT service delivery.
Demonstrates strong analytical thinking to evaluate technical challenges and develop actionable solutions.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical concepts clearly.
Time management and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines and service levels.

Responsibilities

Provides first-level IT end-user support, in person or remotely, to resolve user issues and maintain productivity.
Documents and tracks issues and resolutions, escalating complex problems as needed.
Collaborates with end-users and stakeholders to identify recurring issues and propose preventative measures.
Maintains inventory of software and hardware assets, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
Supports IT-related projects and assists in planning and implementation with stakeholders.
Monitors IT assets for security threats and ensures daily backups and disaster recovery readiness.
Conducts regular security awareness programs and promotes best practices for safeguarding systems and data.
Identifies opportunities to improve IT support processes and systems for efficiency and user satisfaction.
