Everise Philippines Ltd. in Cavite, Philippines seeks an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our IT team and provide desktop support to Everise employees and customers.

The role covers Windows/Exchange/AD administration, network basics (DNS/WINS/DHCP), Cisco routing, and 24x7 on-call production support. A Computer Science degree with 2–4 years’ experience is expected, with strong communication skills and overtime flexibility.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years IT desktop support experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Management experience a plus.
• Personal communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administration of Windows based applications of basic principles, theories, and concepts.
• Administration of Exchange, remote access technologies, Microsoft Active Directory domain administration and support, including user/policy account creation, permissions allocation, creating file and print shares.
• User desktop management with a working knowledge of system patch practices and imaging.
• Working knowledge of DNS, WINS, DHCP networking principles.
• Working knowledge of Cisco based routing and switching.
• IT Support to provide 24x7 on call production support.

The Specialist - IT Desktop Support works within the Everise Information Technology team in providing all levels of IT desktop support. The Specialist works closely with and provides support to the Everise Corporate Technology team members and their customers.

Key responsibilities

• Administration of Windows based applications of basic principles, theories, and concepts
• Administration of Exchange, remote access technologies, Microsoft Active Directory domain administration and support, including user/policy account creation, permissions allocation, creating file and print shares
• User desktop management with a working knowledge of system patch practices and imaging
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Networking principles such as DNS, WINS, DHCP
• Working knowledge of Cisco based routing and switching
• IT Support to provide 24x7 on call production support

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university with two to four years related experience in IT with a focus on desktop support and management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work overtime as required
• Management experience a plus
• Personal communication and presentation skills that will represent the company professionally to outside agencies, financial institutions, business partners, employees and customers
