Job summary

Everise is seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our global tech team. You will provide hands-on support for Windows desktop environments, manage Exchange and Active Directory, and handle user provisioning and network-related tasks.

The role includes on-call production support to ensure uninterrupted operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2–4 years of desktop IT experience, with familiarity in DNS, DHCP, and Cisco networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 2–4 years desktop support experience.
• Proven ability to install, configure and maintain Windows-based desktop environments.
• Experience with Exchange, Active Directory, user/policy account creation and permissions.
• Solid understanding of DNS/DHCP/WINS and basic networking concepts.
• Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching is a plus.
• Willingness to provide 24x7 on-call production support.

Position Purpose

The Specialist – IT Desktop Support works within the Everise Information Technology team in providing all levels of IT desktop support. The Specialist works closely with and provides support to the Everise Corporate Technology team members and their customers.

Job Requirements

• Administration of Windows based applications of basic principles, theories, and concepts
• Administration of Exchange, remote access technologies, Microsoft Active Directory domain administration and support, including user/policy account creation, permissions allocation, creating file and print shares
• User desktop management with a working knowledge of system patch practices and imaging
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Networking principles such as DNS, WINS, DHCP
• Working knowledge of Cisco based routing and switching
• IT Support to provide 24x7 on call production support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university with two to four years related experience in IT with a focus on desktop support and management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work overtime as required
• Management experience a plus
• Must have the personal communication and presentation skills that will represent the company professionally to outside agencies, financial institutions, business partners, employees and customers
