Job summary

SM Retail Inc. is seeking an IT Business Analyst – Digital Solutions to bridge business needs and technology with a focus on practical digital products.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, QA, and UI/UX teams to understand challenges, document requirements, and support discovery through testing and implementation. You will translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and contribute to BRD, RSD, and process flows, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Product Delivery, IT Solution Delivery, or a related role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Experience working on digital platforms, mobile applications, CRM, loyalty platforms, or enterprise applications is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Analyze business processes, pain points, and opportunities and identify areas where technology can improve efficiency and user experience.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and maintain key project documentation, including BRD, RSD, process flows, and user stories.
• Develop Gherkin scenarios and acceptance criteria to help QA teams validate system functionality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, UI/UX Designers, and other technology teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
