Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead the company's IT environment in the Philippines. You will own devices, networks, servers, SaaS apps, security, assets, and controls, coordinating with Marubeni HQ and vendors.

The role requires managing user accounts, licenses, backups, documentation, and compliance with data privacy requirements. Strong communication and ownership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT administration, corporate IT, system administration, or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of PCs, networks, servers, NAS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, routers, firewalls, VPN, SaaS, and business applications.
• Experience managing user accounts, access rights, IT assets, licenses, and IT documentation.
• Experience coordinating with IT vendors, ISPs, telecom providers, system vendors, or maintenance providers.
• Basic understanding of information security, data protection, and backup strategies.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive resolution.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with employees, management, vendors, and headquarters.
• Business-level English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take primary and proactive ownership of the Company's overall IT environment including devices, networks, servers, SaaS applications, business systems, security, IT assets, and internal controls.
• Serve as the primary responsible position for all company IT management and QA desk for IT-related matters.
• Receive, assess, prioritize, and drive IT matters through to resolution, coordinating with vendors, management, and headquarters.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, IT assets, licenses, onboarding/offboarding, system documentation, backups, and IT security measures.
• Maintain and improve network, internet, Wi‑Fi, NAS, DHCP, endpoint, and other IT infrastructure.
• Support accounting systems and other business applications, including access control, license management, and data protection.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, cybersecurity requirements, IT internal controls, and local data privacy requirements.
• Coordinate with headquarters, local vendors, telecom providers, auditors, and external parties, and prepare required reports.
• Identify IT risks and improvement opportunities, implement practical solutions to improve security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Communicate clearly with employees, management, vendors, and headquarters with a service-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a sole IT administrator in a small or medium-sized company.
• Experience working in the Philippines or supporting a Philippine entity.
• Knowledge of the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012.
• Experience managing accounting systems used in the Philippines.
• Experience supporting audits, internal controls, compliance, or cybersecurity assessments.
• Experience working with Japanese companies or group-company governance structures.
