ConnectUs Marketing Solutions in Batangas City is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support IT and admin tasks in a busy office environment. The role requires at least 2 years in administrative or IT support, with experience managing user accounts and basic troubleshooting.
The position is full-time and on-site with a graveyard shift, Tuesday to Saturday. Competitive basic salary plus government-mandated benefits are offered; IT-driven candidates are encouraged to apply.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
*Strictly open to all residents of Batangas City or nearby towns ONLY
*Must be willing to work onsite in Batangas City
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Office Administration, or any related course
Graduates of vocational/technical IT courses may also be considered with relevant experience
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in an administrative, office support, or IT support role — ideally in an office, school, or similar organizational setting
Experience managing user accounts, credentials, and system access for a group of employees, students, or staff is an advantage
Experience with basic equipment/asset inventory and tracking
Experience administering or monitoring third-party software platforms (e.g., productivity tools, monitoring systems, learning management systems, or similar user-based platforms) is a strong advantage
Candidates with a primarily administrative background but hands‑on exposure to basic IT tasks (account setup, equipment tracking, troubleshooting) are also welcome to apply.
Technical Skills
Setting up and managing user accounts: creation, password resets, access levels, roles/permissions, and deactivation
Basic computer and printer troubleshooting (hardware and software level)
Installing, configuring, and maintaining software/tools used company/school-wide (monitoring software, antivirus, productivity suites, etc.)
Managing software licenses and subscriptions - tracking seat counts, renewal dates, and user assignments
Basic network troubleshooting (Wi‑Fi, LAN connections, internet setup for onsite or remote/WFH users)
Comfortable navigating admin dashboards/back‑end panels for various platforms (e.g., Google Workspace admin console, monitoring software admin panel, or similar systems)
Basic data backup and recovery practices before reassigning or retiring equipment
Administrative Skills
Maintaining accurate records of user accounts, equipment assignments, and software licenses
Preparing simple documentation: onboarding/offboarding checklists, equipment handover forms, inventory logs
Coordinating with vendors or service providers for equipment, internet, or software‑related concerns
Filing and organizing IT‑related records (digital and physical) in a clear, consistent system
Soft Skills / Work Attributes
Trustworthy in handling confidential information (accounts, passwords, personal data)
Detail‑oriented, especially with recordkeeping and user access management
Patient and clear communicator - able to guide non‑technical staff through basic troubleshooting steps
Organized and able to manage multiple small IT/admin tasks throughout the day
Willing to work onsite on the specified schedule
Proactive in identifying and flagging system or access issues before they escalates
