About the role
We are seeking an organized and proactive IT Account Manager to support the successful delivery of multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation and post-deployment support. The role will serve as a key liaison between clients, internal technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders, ensuring that project requirements, timelines, deliverables, and expectations are effectively managed.
Generic Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between clients, internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Coordinate multiple IT projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to implementation, deployment, and post-production support
- Gather, clarify, analyze, and document client requirements, project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, action items, and delivery trackers to ensure projects remain on track
- Monitor project progress, milestones, resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and overall delivery status
- Schedule, organize, and facilitate project meetings, status reviews, stakeholder discussions, and client presentations
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, project dashboards, action logs, and other project governance materials
- Identify, track, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and change requests to the appropriate stakeholders
- Manage client expectations through regular communication, progress updates, and proactive issue management
- Support UAT, implementation, deployment, transition, and post-deployment activities as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in IT project coordination, project management, PMO, account management, client services, or a related role
- Experience supporting or coordinating software development, IT infrastructure, system implementation, or technology projects
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, documentation, and reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced IT environment
