About the role

We are seeking an IS&T Director to join New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corporation in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical strategic role in overseeing our Information Systems and Technology operations. As IS&T Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the technology vision that supports our pharmaceutical business objectives, ensuring our IT infrastructure, systems, and teams operate at peak efficiency whilst driving digital transformation across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead software development initiatives with broad oversight across infrastructure, AI, project management, and digital transformation efforts.
• Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategy and roadmap aligned with corporate business objectives and growth initiatives
• Oversee the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all information systems and technology infrastructure across the organisation
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, data protection, and compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry
• Manage IT budget, procurement, and vendor relationships to optimise cost-effectiveness and service delivery
• Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support business innovation
• Establish and maintain IT service standards, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity protocols
• Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to understand technology needs and deliver solutions that create business value
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to maintain competitive advantage
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to pharmaceutical operations, including data integrity and audit trail requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT management and leadership roles
• Proven expertise in managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and cloud technologies
• Strong knowledge in software dvelopment, cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory compliance frameworks (particularly in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or healthcare)
• Demonstrated experience in IT budget management, strategic planning, and vendor management
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience presenting to executive leadership and the board
• Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and digital transformation initiatives
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry operations and regulatory requirements is highly desirable
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and business intelligence platforms is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or similar are advantageous
