Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership.

• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Information Systems & Technology Head to lead the company’s IT strategy, technology operations, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data, and enterprise systems.

The successful candidate will provide both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring that technology supports business growth, operational efficiency, employee productivity, data-driven decision-making, and business continuity.

This role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify technology opportunities, improve business processes, manage technology investments, and build a secure, reliable, and scalable IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Digital Transformation

• Develop and execute the company’s IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to automate, integrate, simplify, and digitize business processes.
• Recommend technology investments and initiatives that deliver measurable business value.

Business Applications & Systems

• Lead and oversee enterprise business applications, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, Sales Force Automation, Finance systems, and other critical platforms.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, integrated, reliable, and fit for business requirements.
• Manage the full lifecycle of business-critical technology solutions.

IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, collaboration platforms, devices, and end-user services.
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of IT services.
• Establish effective IT service standards and technical support processes.

Cybersecurity, Data Privacy & Business Continuity

• Lead cybersecurity, information security, data privacy, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.
• Establish appropriate security controls, monitoring, incident response, and recovery processes.
• Promote security awareness and responsible technology use across the organization.

Data, BI & Analytics

• Develop business intelligence, reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
• Improve data quality and accessibility to support commercial, financial, operational, and management decisions.

IT Governance, Budget & Vendor Management

• Establish IT policies, standards, governance frameworks, and technology architecture principles.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, software licensing, procurement, and third-party technology risks.
• Ensure technology investments are aligned with business priorities and approved budgets.

Project & Portfolio Management

• Lead major IT and digital transformation projects from planning through implementation and stabilization.
• Ensure projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, business requirements, and expected outcomes.
• Drive user adoption and organizational change.

People Leadership

• Lead and develop Team Leads, Specialists, and other IT personnel.
• Build a capable, accountable, service-oriented, and continuously improving IT organization.
• Establish performance standards, development plans, and succession capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Strong experience across IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data, and digital transformation.
• Strong technical background in software development and coding, with hands-on experience in designing and developing systems.
• Proven experience managing enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, and/or Sales Force Automation platforms.
• Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, contracts, licensing, outsourcing, and technology investments.
• Experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional IT projects and organizational change.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, distribution, retail, or other regulated/consumer-driven industries is an advantage.
