Job summary

About the role

The Inventory Manager is responsible for the overall management, monitoring, control, and accuracy of the company's inventory. The position ensures that all fabrics, curtain materials, accessories, finished products, supplies, and other company assets are properly received, recorded, stored, monitored, and released. The Inventory Manager ensures that inventory records are accurate and that actual stocks are properly accounted for. The position works closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Sales, Fulfillment, and Accounting to prevent stock shortages, overstocking, losses, damages, and discrepancies.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the company's overall inventory of fabrics, curtain materials, accessories, supplies, finished products, and other stocks
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all inventory movements are properly documented
  • Monitor stock levels and identify items that are low in stock, overstocked, slow-moving, or fast-moving
  • Ensure that inventory quantities in the system or inventory records correspond with the actual physical stocks
  • Establish proper inventory control procedures to minimize losses, damages, shortages, and discrepancies
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliation
  • Supervise the proper receiving of incoming fabrics, materials, accessories, and supplies
  • Prepare regular inventory reports for management on current inventory levels, stock shortages, overstock items, discrepancies, and losses
  • Supervise and guide inventory and warehouse personnel in performing their assigned duties
  • Implement measures to minimize inventory losses, pilferage, damage, and unauthorized use
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or related operations
  • Experience in handling fabric, garments, furniture, home furnishing, construction materials, or similar products is an advantage
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
  • Strong inventory management and organizational skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar inventory systems
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage and supervise employees
