Job summary

FOCAL SIGHT INTERNATIONAL INC. is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Associate/Inventory Clerk to monitor stock levels, coordinate product movements between branches and the warehouse, and maintain precise inventory records for optical products.

Ideal candidates will understand stock requirements, identify discrepancies promptly, and maintain strong communication with branch teams and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, inventory, warehouse operations, or stock management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and product movement.
• Experience working with inventory management systems or spreadsheets.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and follow through on inventory concerns.
• Comfortable performing physical inventory counts and handling stock.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience in an optical, retail, or healthcare environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for frames, lenses, contact lenses, supplies, and other optical products.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the company's products, stock levels, and locations.
• Track incoming and outgoing inventory and ensure all movements are properly documented.
• Coordinate stock transfers between branches and the warehouse.
• Prepare and process inventory requests, replenishments, transfers, and deliveries.
• Regularly check physical inventory against system records and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, excess, and low-stock items.
• Coordinate with branch teams to determine inventory requirements and prioritize urgent requests.
• Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts and stock audits.
• Ensure products are properly packed, labeled, stored, and delivered.
• Coordinate with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams regarding deliveries and inventory concerns.
• Maintain organized inventory documentation and reports.
• Report damaged, missing, expired, or incorrect items promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of optical products.
• Assist in improving inventory control and logistics processes.
