About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join GOTESCO MARKETING, INC. in Meycauayan City, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in optimising our warehouse and distribution operations. As Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing stock movements, identify fast, slow and moderate moving stocks, who can analyze reorder point of inventory. He/She must be able to set up minimum level of Inventory for each Gotesco stock items and assists to improve the Inventory Process in Manila, Cebu & Davao Branch warehouse operations. This position is essential to our supply chain management and directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and operational efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouse locations using inventory management systems
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure proper handling and organization
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to optimize stock availability
• Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices within the warehouse
• Liaise with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Investigate inventory losses or damages and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and warehousing regulations
• Support the implementation of warehouse management system upgrades and process improvements

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in warehouse, inventory management, or distribution center environments
• Strong proficiency with inventory management systems and warehouse management software
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, stock rotation, and valuation methods
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• College graduate with Bachelors Degree in in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
