Job summary

Responsibilities

• Store materials according to product type, batch, and expiry date following FIFO/FEFO systems.
• Monitor cold storage conditions (temperature/humidity) and report deviations.
• Assist with product transfers between cold storage and the dressing/processing area.
• Receive raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Verify quantity and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Coordinate the dispatch of finished products with logistics and shipping teams.
• Track and record movement of items during dressing/processing operations.
• Report any stock discrepancies, spoilage, or damage immediately.
• Assist in regular stock rotation to reduce waste and prevent product expiry.
• Participate in daily cycle counts and monthly/quarterly stock takes and reconcile physical counts with system records and investigate variances.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

I. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

• College graduate of any business course
• Minimum 2 years of experience as inventory control in any manufacturing company, food/cold storage environments is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office application, specifically in Excel

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

• Ability to implement FIFO/FEFO principles and has an understanding of inventory control and processes.
• Competent in physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Knowledgeable of stock classification (Raw, WIP, Finished, Expired and Damage)
• Skilled in using inventory modules.
• Ability to identify and investigate stock discrepancies, root cause and corrective action recommendations.
• Maintaining inventory records, issue slips, and transfer notes.
• Clear and timely communication regarding stock status and issues.
