Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience.
• Experience leading a team or supervising staff.
• Solid knowledge of inventory accounting, month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Detail-oriented with strong deadline adherence.
• Excellent coordination with departments, government agencies and vendors.
• Ability to work independently with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record real-time inventory movements and stock verifications.
• Maintain records for insurance claims, debit memos, and destruction.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of physical inventory counts.
• Reconcile inventory with warehouse accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate inconsistencies in inventory records.
• Prepare and submit monthly General Accounting reports (GP Analysis, Ending Inventory with Obsolescence, AP Foreign Aging, Importations).
• Prepare Trust Receipts and AP subsidiary ledgers reconciled to GL balances.
• Process debit memos, payment requests, and AP vouchers per timelines.
• Ensure stock movements are verified by warehouse staff and recorded in stock cards.
• Maintain filing system for inventory-related documents (RR, DR, STS, SIS, IR).
• Assist in periodic and annual physical counts of inventory and assets.
• Coordinate with BIR and vendors on inventory matters.
• Provide support to Accounting on key projects and warehouse transactions.
