Job Description

This role oversees all aspects of inventory management, ensuring accurate records, efficient flow, and insightful financial reporting while leading and developing the accounting team.

Responsibilities

Inventory Accuracy

• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Reconcile physical counts with system records and investigate discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Lead the investigation of inventory variances in all inventory categories and locations.
• Oversee the full inventory cycle from receiving to delivery.
• Perform ABC analysis to categorize inventory items as A (high value), B (medium value), or C (low value) to prioritize management efforts.
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports, such as stock level, inventory turnover, aging inventory.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data analysis.

Supervision and Coaching

• Provide training and motivate accounting associates. Implement discipline and guidance to correct deficiencies of employees.
• Aids in the promotion of core values of the organization.

Staff Development

• Takes part in the conduct of the regular Performance Management System.
• Keeps abreast of external and internal opportunities for skills and development training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Management Accounting, or any business management-related courses.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in accounting or other related field.
• Must have at least three (3) years experience in warehouse inventory management, Oral and Written Communications, Attention to Details, Organized, People Oriented, Team Player, and Loyal to Organization.
