Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Revit Modeler to join our Architecture & Design Group. The role involves creating BIM models and drawings, attending client meetings, and coordinating drafting work within a small team.

Requirements include 5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Architecture, with knowledge of construction methods and local codes. The position can be based in Makati, Quezon City or Cebu, depending on location.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Highly proficient drafting and modeling in AutoCAD and Revit Architecture.
• Understanding of construction methodologies used on various building types.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with other building-related disciplines.
• Desirable: SketchUp, Lumion, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Navisworks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual sketches, BIM models/images based on project briefs.
• Attend meetings with external and internal clients.
• Prepare detailed drawings using concept sketches and modeling principles.
• Create project drawing lists and coordinate drafting tasks.
• Participate in design discussions and assign work to the team.
• Coordinate drafting and visualization work with senior staff.
• Assist the Project Architect with programs and time/cost estimates.
• Provide accurate drawings, BIM models and calculations.

Our Architecture & Design Group is looking for an experienced Interior Designer / Revit Modeler to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare conceptual presentation sketches/plans / BIM models/images based on written project briefings or discussions.
• Attend and participate in meetings with client groups (external and internal GHD clients)
• Prepare detailed drawings based on previous examples or more frequently concept sketch designs utilizing advanced knowledge of relevant design, drafting, and modeling principles
• Prepare and create project drawing lists
• Participate in project design discussions with project teams, and assign work within a small team accordingly
• Coordination of drafting and visualization work as assigned by senior staff
• Assist the Project Architect (Job Manager) with the preparation of project programs and time/cost estimates for specific project tasks as required
• Assist the Job Manager with program tasks and fee/time estimates
• Providing accurate drawings, BIM models, and where applicable, calculations
• Providing checking capability to projects as required
• Providing Project drafter skills to small projects as required

What you will bring to the team:

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Highly proficient drafting and modeling capabilities in AutoCAD and Revit with a particular focus on Revit Architecture
• A clear understanding of construction methodologies used on various building types
• Understanding of local building codes and regulations
• Ability to work with other building-related disciplines, and provide project-specific coordination of work effort
• A working knowledge of the following software packages is desirable, but not essential: Sketch-up, Lumion, 3D Studio Max and Photoshop, Navisworks
• Proficient with Microsoft office packages
