Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or related business discipline, preferably CPA
• Previous experience in Intercompany Accounting or general accounting
• Strong general ledger background; able to perform journal entries and reconciliations in large volumes
• Experience with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.); Oracle preferred
• 2-3 years in a shared service or BPO setup preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications (SharePoint and web-based apps)

Responsibilities

• Execute accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting
• Close financial periods timely per calendar and SLA commitments
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and validity of reported actuals
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for intercompany AR and AP
• Process journal entries and accruals; ensure timely expense recognition
• Assist with intercompany netting and coordination with partners
• Engage stakeholders across the shared service group
• Identify and implement process improvements; support audits
