Job summary

Dover Business Services in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking an Accountant, General Ledger to support our shared services operations. You will process journal entries, reconciliations, and period-end close, helping to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Experience in general accounting with exposure to US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with fixed asset, cash management, and intercompany accounting.
• ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle); Oracle preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint).
• Six Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processes journal entries, allocations, and period end adjustments.
• Performs balance sheet account reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Reconciles intercompany transactions and supports consolidations.
• Monitors fixed-asset additions, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Provides audit support and supports continuous improvement of GL processes.
