Job summary

Dover Business Services is seeking an Intercompany Accounting professional to manage daily accounting and closing for intercompany processes in a high-volume shared service setting. You will ensure accurate postings, reconciliations, and timely financial period closes while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

The role requires a strong GL background, oracle/SAP experience, and advanced Excel skills. A CPA or CPA-eligible candidate with 2–3 years in a BPO or SSC environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Experience in intercompany accounting or general accounting.
• Strong GL background; able to post journal entries and reconcile at high volumes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle); Oracle preferred.
• 2–3 years in a shared service or BPO setup preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot, charts; macros a plus).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (SharePoint, web apps).
• Continuous improvement mindset; Lean Six-Sigma trained is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting.
• Timely closing and execution of financial periods per calendar and SLA.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals within scope.
• Focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations (Interco AR/AP) to minimize items.
• Monitor, review, and resolve intercompany receivables/payables; coordinate with partners.
• Perform journal entries and accruals; ensure timely expense recognition.
• Participate in netting process.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders across the shared service group.
• Identify process improvements and implement projects.
• Support process streamlining and improvements initiatives.
• Provide audit support (internal and external).
