Job summary

Dover Business Services in Cebu City is seeking an Intercompany Accountant to execute accounting and daily operations for the Intercompany Accounting process area, ensuring timely closing and accurate reporting.

You will monitor intercompany receivables and payables, perform journal entries, and support process improvements while coordinating with stakeholders across the shared service group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA qualification preferred.
• Experience in Intercompany Accounting or general accounting.
• Strong GL background; able to post journal entries and reconcile.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle); Oracle preferred.
• 2-3 years in a shared services or BPO setup preferred.
• Excel proficiency with advanced formulas and pivoting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (SharePoint).
• Lean Six-Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting.
• Timely closing and execution of financial periods per closing calendar and SLA.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals within scope.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations (Interco AR and AP) to minimize open items.
• Monitor, review, and resolve intercompany receivables and payables; coordinate with partners.
• Perform journal entries and accruals; ensure timely expense recognition.
• Participate in netting process.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the shared service group.
• Identify process improvements and support project implementations.
• Support process streamlining and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide audit support, both internal and external.
