Job summary

Dover Business Services (DBS) is seeking an Intercompany Accountant to handle accounting and daily operations for intercompany processes, close cycles on time, and maintain accurate financials. The role requires strong GL skills, journal entries, and reconciliations in high-volume environments with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

DBA will collaborate with shared service teams and support audits. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance (CPA preferred) and 2–3 years in SSC/BPO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline; CPA preferred.
• Experience in Intercompany Accounting or general accounting.
• Strong general ledger background; able to journal entries and reconciliation in high volumes.
• Experience with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle); Oracle preferred.
• 2–3 years in a shared service or BPO setup preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic to complex formulas, pivoting; macros a plus).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; Lean Six-Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute accounting and daily operations for Intercompany Accounting.
• Close periods on time per closing calendar and SLA commitments.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals within scope.
• Focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations (Interco AR and AP) to minimize open items.
• Monitor, review, and resolve intercompany receivables and payables; coordinate with partners.
• Perform journal entries and accruals; ensure timely expense recognition.
• Participate in netting process and engage with stakeholders.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive projects.
• Support process streamlining and improvement initiatives.
• Provide audit support (internal and external).
