Job summary

Socium - Teams Done Differently seeks an experienced IT leader to guide a team through automation-focused projects, delivering scalable automated solutions in a dynamic environment.

You will leverage SharePoint, Power Platform, and Power BI while applying Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall methodologies to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and risk-aware decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT/IS or similar field.
• At least 8 years of relevant IT software development experience.
• At least 3 years of managing projects and people.
• Understanding of leadership roles and responsibilities (operations management, performance management, customer management).
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI, and automation tools, with strong knowledge of Agile, Scaled Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in completing project-based assignments to deliver automated processes.
• Guide the team in designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions for automation of existing or new processes.
• Guide the team in implementing the full life cycle of an automation solution, identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Intelligent Automation tools.
• Ensure the service level agreements are on target.
• Plan, assign, and direct work for the employees in cooperation with the manager to manage workloads and projects.
• Train new hires and ensure that they have sufficient knowledge and skills before performing their work alone/independently.
• Perform regular coaching to enhance the performance of staff and encourage participation in decision-making.
• Analyze risk and mitigate project circumstances based on impact assessment.
