SCALABLE OS CORP. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and build automations that streamline internal processes and scale service delivery.
You will work across teams to identify opportunities, implement integrations, and document solutions, with emphasis on PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and Git-based version control. Responsibilities include developing automation across ConnectWise, PIA, and Databricks, consuming REST APIs and webhooks, and leveraging Azure and M365 environments.
The Automation Engineer is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing automation solutions that streamline internal business processes and enhance the services delivered internally and externally. Working across teams, this role evaluates existing workflows and toolsets, then builds integrations and custom automations to eliminate manual effort, reduce errors, and scale service delivery. The Automation Engineer works closely with internal teams and management to learn how the business operates and find opportunities to improve it through technology.
This role operates at the intersection of IT operations and software development, requiring fluency in Company's core platforms — including ConnectWise, Microsoft 365, Azure and PIA — as well as proficiency in scripting, data tooling, and system integration. The Automation Engineer is expected to maintain thorough documentation of all solutions built and deployed.
The primary responsibility is designing and building automations that help process and fulfill client service requests.
Much of the automation work will be performed in the PIA RPA platform using PowerShell scripts wrapped in YAML workflows.
The objective is to automate ticket fulfillment as much as possible without negatively impacting the client experience.
Assess and document existing business processes across departments to identify automation opportunities and inefficiencies.
Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using ConnectWise, PIA, PowerShell, Python, and other approved platforms.
Consume and integrate REST APIs and webhook-based triggers to connect Company's internal tools with third-party platforms.
Write, maintain, and version-control scripts in PowerShell and Python using Git to support endpoint management, reporting, and workflow automation.
Use SQL and Databricks to extract, analyze, and act on operational data to inform automation strategies and report on efficiency gains.

Azure experience is highly preferred but not considered an absolute requirement for the right candidate.
Education / Experience: A minimum of an Associate's Degree or 3–5 years of equivalent technical experience in automation, systems integration, or a related IT discipline. MSP experience is strongly preferred. Experience in high-volume service environments with exposure to integration platforms, scripting, and business process improvement is a plus.
Skill Level: Must possess working knowledge of automation design patterns, REST API consumption, and scripting in PowerShell and/or Python. Candidates should be comfortable operating across multiple platforms simultaneously and translating business process requirements into functional technical solutions. Experience consuming REST APIs and working with webhooks to trigger and integrate automated workflows is expected.
