Job summary

Allianz Philippines is seeking a Product Category Manager to own the strategy, growth, and performance of the assigned product portfolio. You will drive lifecycle management, collaborate with IT, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, and Compliance, and ensure portfolio competitiveness in a regulated market.

Leading category initiatives, you will translate customer needs and market insights into a compelling product strategy and actionable plans that deliver business growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in product design, launch, and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of insurance products (VUL, traditional, health).
• Experience navigating regulatory and governance processes (e.g., IC, internal approvals).
• Strategic & Commercial Capability – develop portfolio strategies and translate insights into recommendations.
• Leadership & Influence – influence stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute category strategy, portfolio growth priorities, target segments, product roles, roadmap initiatives, and strategic opportunities.
• Apply Category Management to assess customer needs, market trends, and portfolio performance to recommendations with measurable outcomes.
• Drive design, approval, and delivery of products, riders, funds, reen pricing, enhancements through ideation to launch.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across IT, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, CX to deliver objectives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend optimization, repricing, enhancements, expansion, or retirement.
