Job summary

Allianz PNB Life Insurance, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Product Category Manager to own strategy, growth, and performance of the assigned product category. You will manage the full lifecycle from ideation to launch, working with IT, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to deliver initiatives that drive growth and customer value.

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure governance and regulatory compliance, and optimize the portfolio for profitability and relevance in the market.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in product design, launch, and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of insurance products (VUL, traditional, health).
• Experience navigating regulatory and governance processes (IC, internal approvals).
• Strategic and commercial capability to develop portfolio strategies.
• Leadership to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience in pricing or actuarial collaboration.
• Exposure to system implementation lifecycle (UAT, requirements validation).
• Portfolio management experience (repricing, optimization).
• Familiarity with Agile/Product Owner frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute category strategy, portfolio growth priorities, target segments, product roles, and roadmap initiatives.
• Drive design, approval, and delivery of new products, riders, funds, repricing, enhancements, and portfolio actions.
• Ensure customer value, regulatory compliance, and launch readiness.
• Lead cross-functional orchestration across IT, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance.
• Influence decision-making, resolve competing priorities, and drive effective execution.
• Monitor category and portfolio performance against objectives and recommend optimization.
