Job summary

Carelon Global Solutions in Metro Manila is seeking entry-level Customer Service Representatives to complete basic training and handle routine inquiries from internal and external customers.

You will respond to questions by phone and email about insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims, document outcomes, and use a computer system to track information and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to 1 year of experience in automated customer service preferred or equivalent training.
• Ability to learn and operate automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims.
• Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions.
• Operates a PC/image station to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.
• Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.
• Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled promptly.
• Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.
• Provides information to external and internal customers; follows up by phone or email for routine questions.
• Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
• Requires limited knowledge of company services, products, insurance benefits, contracts and claims.
• Meets department goals by understanding and responding to customer needs.
