Job summary

Coverforce, a leading independent insurance broker, seeks an Insurance Broker Assistant to join our Makati team. This full-time hybrid role combines 4 days of remote work with 1 day onsite at our Makati office.

You will support brokers with renewals, quotes, endorsements, invoicing, and client presentations, drawing on Australian market experience. The position offers growth and regional training opportunities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ Australian insurance industry experience.
• Latin honors or Dean’s List highly regarded.
• Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience with Sunrise, SCTP, WINBEAT and INSIGHT Broking System.
• Ability to process invoices for renewals, new business, endorsements, and cancellations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Renewals – manage renewal allocations and templates.
• Renewal Programs – obtain terms and apply to templates.
• New Business – source terms and prepare broker presentations.
• Quoting – assist in producing comparative quotes.
• Endorsements – support processing and invoicing.
• Documentation – ensure invoices/docs are saved in OIT.
• Ad Hoc Tasks – perform additional duties as needed.

About the Role

Coverforce is seeking an experienced Insurance Broker Assistant to join our dynamic team in Makati.

In this role, you will work closely with a Broker to deliver tailored insurance solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises in the local market.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Renewals – Manage renewal allocations, including issuing pre-renewal template emails and policy schedules.
• Renewal Programs – Obtain renewal terms and apply them to standard templates for broker presentation, taking into account prior-year terms, mid‑term adjustments, and claims history.
• New Business – Source new business terms from insurers and prepare presentations for brokers using standard templates, including available market options.
• Quoting – Assist Account Managers in preparing comparative quotes using existing data (e.g., claims history and current policy details), and present these to advisers via standard templates.
• Endorsements – Support Account Managers in processing endorsements, issuing invoices to clients, and finalising closings with insurers.
• Documentation – Ensure all invoices and related documentation are accurately saved and maintained in OIT.
• Ad Hoc Tasks – Carry out additional duties as required by brokers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Australian insurance industry, working with an Australian-based broker.
• Candidates with Latin honors (e.g., cum laude) or who have consistently been on the Dean’s List will be highly regarded.
• Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience with quoting using Sunrise and SCTP, as well as working with WINBEAT and the INSIGHT Broking System.
• Ability to process invoices for renewals, new business, endorsements, policy adjustments, and cancellations efficiently.
• Experience with, and a solid understanding of, premium funding systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of reliability and integrity.
• Ability to work independently, supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills.
