Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in a call centre environment.
• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to articulate clearly and professionally.
• Proficiency with computer systems and CRM software.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Insurance knowledge or experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls professionally and courteously, addressing enquiries and resolving insurance-related issues.
• Provide accurate information on policies, coverage options, claims procedures and payments.
• Document interactions accurately in the system with clear records.
• Identify needs and propose suitable insurance solutions when applicable.
• Process requests including inquiries, updates, and amendments.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors while maintaining satisfaction.
• Aim to meet/exceed call handling time and customer satisfaction targets.
• Follow regulatory requirements, company policies and data protection rules.
• Contribute to team goals and participate in training to enhance knowledge.
