Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service, particularly within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to resolving issues.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software, and call centre technology.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy, addressing inquiries related to insurance policies and claims.
• Provide comprehensive product knowledge and advice to customers regarding insurance coverage options, policy features, and benefits.
• Process insurance applications, policy updates, and amendments accurately and efficiently.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues to senior management when necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and documentation in accordance with company protocols.
• Cross-sell and upsell insurance products where appropriate, contributing to sales targets and business objectives.
• Follow all regulatory requirements and compliance standards specific to the insurance industry.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and positive customer experiences.
• Achieve and maintain key performance indicators including call quality, customer satisfaction scores, and productivity metrics.
