Thames International School Inc. is seeking an Instructional Designer in Quezon City to create modular, mobile-friendly learning materials using ADDIE and SAM frameworks.
The role includes LMS setup, learner communications, and reporting to support blended or online delivery. You will develop digital and print content, test with trainers and learners, and coordinate with curriculum teams to ensure accurate, version-controlled assets.

The Instructional Designer creates engaging, mobile-friendly, and modular learning materials using modern instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE and SAM. The role ensures that all materials support competency-based training and are optimized for blended or online delivery. Additionally, this position manages Learning Management System (LMS) course setup, learner communications, and reporting to support smooth training delivery and administrative functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and optimize digital and print learning materials (including slides, modules, visuals, and animations) aligned with competency-based methodology for both desktop and mobile and low-bandwidth environments
2. Conduct user testing with trainers and learners to adjust and improve content based on feedback and quality standards.
3. Coordinate with Curriculum Developers and trainers to ensure content accuracy, logical flow, and strict version control of all learning assets
4. Configure and maintain LMS settings, including course/class parameters, enrollments, schedules, learning paths, and assessment settings prior to program launches
5. Publish and manage digital resources within the LMS, ensuring all activities, assessments, and content are up to date and functional
6. Monitor and report on learner progress, generating dashboards and reports regarding participation, completion, and assessment results for stakeholders
7. Provide first-level LMS support and troubleshooting for learners and trainers, collaborating with IT support when necessary
8. Perform other job-related responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field

4. Ability to implement feedback quickly within a 3-day revision cycle
5. A team player capable of collaborating with SMEs and IT teams in a fast-paced environment.
