Job summary

China Bank Philippines is seeking an Account Officer to manage and grow a portfolio of institutional clients, driving lending opportunities and holistic banking solutions. You will build relationships, assess needs, prepare credit proposals, and cross-sell deposits, cash management, treasury and other services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of corporate or commercial banking as an Account Officer or Relationship Manager.
• Experience in banking, account management, credit evaluation, or financial analysis is an advantage.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with good business writing and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with institutional clients to grow the business portfolio.
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate financing and banking solutions.
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare credit proposals for new and existing facilities.
• Cross-sell banking products such as deposits, cash management, treasury, trust, and insurance solutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality, and compliance with bank policies and regulations.
