Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Quality Assurance professional to support manufacturing operations with a focus on in-line audits and disposition of lots with quality issues.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work extended hours, and to drive corrective actions from 8D reports within a semiconductor environment. Collaboration with supervisors is essential to uphold our quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Vocational, or College Level; technical courses are an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably semiconductor.
• Must be able to handle manual work and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, 5S practices, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Review and execute disposition of lots with quality issues.
• Conduct in-line audits and verify corrective actions from 8D reports.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, including non-conforming lots.
• Support product evaluations, machine buy-offs, and other quality-related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

• Support product evaluations, machine buy‑offs, and other quality‑related activities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• At least a High School Diploma, Vocational, or College Level; technical courses are an advantage.
• Working experience Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably semiconductor company.
• Physical Abilities: Able to handle manual work and extend up to 12 hours as occasionally needed. Can handle prolong sitting and/or standing depending on the assigned station.
